The South Delta Jazz Festival hosted by Delta Community Music School begins this week. Two concerts well worth attending will be the evening concerts on Friday and Saturday.

Friday July 10th features saxophonist Dave Branter. Dave is a wonderful musician who can play a wide variety of styles from jazz to all things classical and contemporary. For this event he will be playing mainstream jazz with our festival band.

Saturday July 11 features Steve Maddock with pianist Lorne Kellett and the faculty band. Steve has a wonderful jazz baritone voice, and I am sure this will be one unforgetable concert.

Both concerts are at 7:30 pm at the Tsawwassen Arts Centre, and tickets are just $10 for each concert. Tickets at the door, or at South Coast Casuals on 48th Ave. in Ladner Village
